Now before you go running with a million thoughts of why I would ask such a question, this can be the question that changes your life from this day forward. The fact is…. Most people never take the time to give it any consideration as to why they are getting the results they are getting in life Which why it has been said an unexamined life isn’t worth living. It order for you to get past where you are, you must look at why you have the belief system you are currently working with Your life really depends on it… You can have two exact same people, with the same abilities and end up with entirely different results. Why? Because their belief systems are different. And the scary thing is… Most people are more interested in defending what they know, rather then discovering who they are. It is human nature to want to protect what we believe is right. But we never consider where or how we got our belief system. Let me give you an example…. When I was a child, my parents always use to make comments about not having money, or being wealthy was a bad thing. It all began in the middle of September of 2004 when this four-legged critter came into my life and forever changed it. From the moment I seen him I knew there was something special about to take place. Little did I know this 4 month old puppy was going to show me things in life I could have never seen before. Now Picture this…… Waiting at the LA airport to pick up a new dobby puppy that was shipped from Penn. I was so excited to see him. It seemed like it took forever, when the elevator doors open and out comes an airport employee pushing a flat bed cart with a huge dog kennel on top of it. I remember looking into the kennel to find a scared little puppy. Now keep in mind, this is a dobby and he has his ears taped up, making it looked like he had two antennas on top of his head. He was sitting down with his front legs spread out, basically telling me “If you want me, you are going to have to come in here and get me.” And the moment I pulled him out of that kennel, he took over. What in the world were we going to name this puppy? I wanted a name that represented power, integrity, character and a name that was not only unique, but meant something. It’s a another dreaded Monday morning, stuck in traffic and wondering why am I still here? Then your mind begins to wander and you realize you are no where near where you wanted to be at this point in your life? How many times have all of us been here? People get up, brush their teeth and do the usual morning routine. Get into the car, drive the same route, to a job that drains them rather then filling them with passion. Then come home, sit in front of the TV, watching other people live out their dreams, then go to bed, only to repeat it the next day Friends this is called paying the price of getting by…. There are millions of people doing this day in and day out. Not to mention all of the stress of wondering how you are going to pay the bills, whether or not you are going to even have a job next month. The sad thing is people don’t even realize how much they are paying for a dead end life But take a look at it from a different point of view… When we start looking at the price we are paying just to get by, we realize it is costing us our dreams, hopes, aspirations and ultimately our lives.
